Alantra is an international financial services firm with over 600 professionals representing 35 nationalities in 24 offices. Founded in Spain, they have become a global firm without a head office. They are a young but rapidly growing organisation who offer many financial services such as investment banking and alternative asset management.
The Challenge
Alantra acquired a new office building in the London Financial District and wanted their conference rooms to support a single-platform that would transform employee engagement, customer interactions and support flexible work styles inside and outside the office. The new platform had to support Both Microsoft and Webex Teams for meetings and BYOD conferencing.
The Solution
The Tesrex team was responsible for configuring the Webex Cloud and Microsoft Teams integrations so that a seamless and fully functional transition was possible. We worked very closely with their incumbent partner, Candeo, who installed the 3rd party AV Acoustics for the room.
Webex Cloud was used to register the Webex Room Kits and integrate with O365 platforms.
Video Integration for Microsoft Teams (VIMT) was deployed to allow users to join via the Webex Client or MS Teams Client.
OBTP (One Button to Push) was configured to ensure ease of dialling into video conference rooms without having to input conference or meeting ID’s
USB Passthrough was also deployed for BYOD so any user with their laptop or mobile device could execute and manage the peripheral equipment directly from their personal device.
VAD (Voice activity detection) was configured so Webex assistant conferences could be executed via a user’s spoken voice without having to utilize the touch panel.
Apple TV and Chromecast was also integrated to support the sharing of content without the need of an HDMI cables.
The Benefits
This new collaboration solution allows Alantra to connect flexible work styles inside and outside the office no matter the device or mobile client.
Webex Cloud integration provided a flexible migration path to cloud services by adding value to existing on-premises investments. This enabled a single pane of glass that streamlines administration and allows all devices to home into a single platform which became natural extension of Alantra’s on premise network infrastructure.
